May 2009.

The Pathways 2009 conference will be held from 19 to 21 July 2009
at the Contemporary Hotel, Orlando.
The competition tests ability in Microsoft Word and Excel. Students
entering the competition are required to sit the internationally
recognised Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification exam. All
students who pass the exam will receive their MOS Certification, a
valuable addition to their skills portfolio. State and national
prize winners will be chosen on the basis of best scores and elapsed
time.

The cost of entry for the school is $250 inc GST. Prizes will be
awarded for state champions.
To participate in the 2009 Microsoft Office Specialist World
Championship competition, please complete the following information.
You will be registered as an Authorised Testing Centre which allows
your students to participate in this competition.
Intouch Consultancy Pty Ltd will then process this application on
your behalf. A tax invoice for this package will be sent to the
Contact Email address listed on this application form.

If you are a Student
You must be a current student of an academic institution duly recognised by the state or country in which it operates to
participate in the 2009 Worldwide Competition on Microsoft Office.
Prepare
Prepare for your exams using the guides, learning materials,
and skills standards available
for the Microsoft Word and/or Microsoft Excel version 2000, 2002,
and/or 2003 certification exams.
Locate A Testing Centre
If your school is participating in the competition chances are that your school will be a testing centre already. If you are entering independently then click here to locate a
testing centre near you.
Take an Eligible Exam
If you take an eligible exam at an Academic
Certiport Centre you will be prompted to register for the competition
immediately prior
to the start of your exam. If you take an eligible exam at a Commercial
Certiport Centre you may register your exam for the competition after
taking the exam by visiting your Candidate Home Page on the Certiport
Website. Remember you can take and retake eligible exams as many
times as you like so long as you adhere to the Microsoft Office Specialist exam retake policy which states:

Candidates may retake the same exam once without restriction on the interval between exams. Candidates who wish to retake the exam a second or subsequent time, however, must wait a minimum of seven days before retaking the exam. |

Candidates participating in exam beta testing may take each beta exam only once unless otherwise authorised by program administrators. |
Upon conclusion of country competitions in
May 2009, the two students
who achieved the highest Word (version 2000, 2002, or 2003) and Excel
(version 2000, 2002, or 2003) scores in each participating country
will win a trip to compete at the 2009 Worldwide Championships in
Orlando, Florida, USA. |
